I love working with animals,I garden,sew(I am getting better at it LOL ) and make jewelry.
I am extremely interested in holistic health and natural healing.

- Living in harmony with the earth and with each other, I am looking for vegans/ vegetarians, that are spiritual, kind and loving that has positive views on life :)

Later that year I decided to visit an herbalist who took the time to study characteristics of myself and formulated a mixture of 7 different herbs that I brewed into a tea. Startling similiar attachment to my focus (could wait about 7-15 minutes of slight exhaust then would kick up to a sharp mindset) but felt like it threw me into a more genuine intellect and was wholey ignorable if tasks were to change.
Since then I have taken a few classes and collect a few books to take reference to. could list off specific herbs that I have had fun with (most simply allow me to overcome the ailment and its passed); and last year I took the time to drycraft 1/2 pound of cleaver ariels that has been my most industrius experience and a great time spent in open parks working in foliage.
Any of interest come to mind for you? I know there are many differences between males and females and what we may focus on. I usually focus mostly on immune strenght and mental tonics and sometimes get into tinctures.

Here, we're getting ready for spring planting. We have to resurrect two plastic / metal-tubing coldframes, but Linda is getting the young plants started indoors. I'm readying the tools, tractors, and the horses & harness.
I have to plow and replant 20, maybe 40, acres into new alfalfa & timothy. A lotta work; but, that's farming. We're looking into marketing produce, not sure whether to go with the Farmers' Market or not---cramped lot, etc.
How about you, Katy? What are you doing for work these days? Is there life out there, and high folk to talk and play with and dream together with?
Well, I have to go out and milk the cow...Linda's down in coeur d'Alene at a spin-in today, so I have the dairy duty bye now....
How are things going out in Philly? It's cold winter here so I'm stuck indoors for now. If you are interested in discussing natural healing send me a message, I've spent many years using medicinal herbs and have recently gotten to wildcrafting and drumming too. Could use some friends to share with.
How's it going? And how goes your search for community? Doing a lot of networking with friends along those lines, locally?
OTOH...nothin' wrong with coming into town once a week or whatever to help in the kitchen at an aid center, and the rest of the time living in the country...able to see shining clearly all the stars at night and be growing food, teaching children how to carve or weave, stoking woodstoves, playing drums and guitars around night-time fires outside, and grooving with the nature devas now and again...:-)
Gardening and even large community gardens can be done in urban settings. but many people, myself included, prefer the space and freedom and relative quiet of farmland, woods, and fields.
