I've played a little with glasswork like that, even traveled to the coast to check out some of chihulys' work then on to tour an art school. If you can warm up just one end of another bottle (use a newspaper for a cold end you can grab) like that ...

Back in the day, when I used to party in the woods, we'd put empty bottles near the fire to warm up, then put in the coals... after a while they'd get hot enough to flatten and shape with sticks, then pull them out, but keep near the fire to cool ...

I saw a program on TV the other night where this artist used peices of glass wrapped in metal wire, hemp, etc...in her necklaces and bracelets and other jewelry peices. It was very beautiful and creative way to use peices of broken glass. Of cours...

Happy Birthday! :)

I read your bio and blog and found myself interested in a few points I could learn from you; like, what or who is punk rob? and a tidepool? is that one of the ocean side caves that catch water and roll their seastones to a smooth round?

permaculture also sounds like something I would like to learn more about. Studies have had me learning about ethnobotony and herbalism, have put some interesting work into gardening too, would like to strenghthen the knowledge.

For today I will say, you should practice for the castle trip, go out and find a stone as close to a round as you'd think was pooled in forrest tide. then lean upside down against a tree, kiss it and bury it as well as you can before head takes on too much of a rush.

Peace,
Thomas

p.s. scratch your kitty behind the ears for me.

Happy Thanksgiving, Kitty--

I went to Google Ecoearth. I'm not sure which of 'em is your place. Is it .org, or .com, or which?

Hope you're having a great one today...:-)

Hi Kitty,

Thank you for the cool comment..It was so awesome, being able to wake up every morning to fresh crisp clean mountain air; the peace, quiet, serenity of nature and wildlife.

I worked at The Old Faithful Inn in The Bear Paw Deli, an "upscale-type" rustic quick-serve food outlet that served Yellowstone guests ice cream and freshly-made sub sandwiches.

I was apart of an awesome team, we were nicknamed the Bear Paw Crew. I like working in a team because I feel every team member brings another viewpoint, angle and opinion influenced by their own life journey to the table, than just a person who by themselves might not have thought of that way to do things.

A way to “think-outside-the-box” in being creative in coming up with solutions and fixes for problems. I got a chance to meet and chill with so many cool amazing people from all over. There were international students from Singapore, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, Australia, Brazil and here in the good ole USA.

Where did you take the first photo from, it is nice! peace

Now You Know Me Better

I like blue. It reminds me of the ocean. I miss the ocean. I like the rain and the way it smells. I love my brothers. I've lived in six states. Utah is my home. I think long and speak short, though sometimes it all comes out in a ramble. I clam up in crowds, don't make friends easily. I'm afraid of lots of things. Spiders, dark , hell, lonliness, ticks, and God to name a few. I'm also stronger than i know. I've been tested many times and have soared above even my own expectations. I am a writer.… Continue
