Thanksgiving

Things have been rough lately but it's that time of year. What are you thankful for?

Mostly, I'm thankful for my family. I have a husband that puts up with me. I have 4 healthy, beautiful, and intelligent kids. And, of course, my big black dog.

I think that we are thankful for the same things. LOL.
I'm thankful for my bestest friend in the whole world, my hubby, my 6 beautiful and talented children. Who amaze me more and more everyday. I am also thankful for the animals in our lives that choose us to be their family.
What a wonder discussion. It gives us alittle time to reflect on what makes us happy in our lives.

Hi,
I'm thankful for family, and a job, and health insurance...with out that I don't know how we would take care of my youngest. I'm thankful that I still have my parents around, though at 76 and 80 I don't know how much longer that will be true. I will miss both but my Dad has been a close friend. He also was a business partner most of my life ( up until the last 15 years). ALAN

im thankful for the love i recieve and thoughts that come and go the earth even in the current state of corpritization the beautiful sunsets in the western sky the friends that stay with me throught these tough times and for royce for starting this wonderful place where all of us can share and express ourselve in hope of a better brighter tomorrow

to the indians for teaching use new ways of thinking of the world and the spiritual world all the plants and medicines found in nature and most of all to be alive during these hard time to try and help and maybe even change the world peace and thank you michael for starting this discussion

I am thankful for freedom, a wise and (com)passionate life partner who puts up with my weird sense of humor, three onery but beautiful children, three lovely and energetic grandchildren; a warm house on land that is paid for, with plenty of firewood in the shed, abundance as to food for not only ourselves but all our critters, AND ALL OF YOU who keep shining on, and are helping things improve.

MichaelMarie, thanks for starting this discussion...a much-needed counter to all the gloom out there on the tube and in the papers.

I am thankful for everything i have... My family, friends, neighbors, dogs and good health. I am also thankful that my mother recently got custody of my brothers son(my nephew). He was in a horrible place living with his mother who never put him first and was subjected to things a child should never see. I am soooo thankful he has a chance to have a real childhood now, excel in school and allways have food to eat and people who love him. It has only been a week and he has already gotten into the routine at grandma's and behaving better and is actually smiling.
