It seems tonight as I go down the list of members I have found that our site is becoming an advertising site. Do you want this to happen or do you want me delete people that we feel aren't here to learn, teach, have info. about Intentional Community? I think that the best way for us to get to know one another is to answer the questions and to tell about our lives. Don't you? I have noticed that I find myself saying "please tell us more about yourself" over and over.
Tell me what you all think about this......please. I want us all to be happy with this site. Please don't get me wrong. I love the fact that our number of members are growing. I just want them to be here for the right reasons.

I agree about the members here for the right reasons. 2 members who genuinely want to be here to learn about intentional communities and meet other like minded people is better than 100 members who are ready to pounce and spam the 2 genuine ones. just my opinion....:o)

that probably is a challenge with a network like these. For those just looking to place an ad; which doesn't look like this network has too big of a problem with people spaming their stuff out but it does leave alot of member profiles to sort through. And then people seem to get excited about the topic and start setting up an account only to forget it and never clean it off or get around to taking part.

Maybe you could set up a cleanup date and tell everyone to post that they'd like to keep participating and let anyone else they know interested know if they haven't posted closer to the clean out date. Most people have it set that messages alert an e-mail account that they should get the word if you put it off by about a month or so

I like to learn and teach and help out when I can, I've learned some things since joining the site and met some great people... I did recently put up a link for a web game I play, I thought a few people here that I know play other games would enjoy it too, but if you feel it's advertising or such, let me know and I'll delete it.

I don't mind the ad's. Rays Country Store is still here and have room for a few folk's,
would like to see someone come for the winter and help with the store, or even take it over,
